In this session, I’m building a brand new track from scratch in Ableton Live and experimenting with locking drum grooves to guitar tone and rhythm. This isn’t a tutorial or a polished studio breakdown — it’s more like sitting on the couch while I work through ideas in real time.
We go through sound selection, layering, drum programming, guitar ideas, workflow decisions, and the creative process behind building a track from nothing. Some ideas work, some don’t, but that’s part of the process.
If you’re into music production, Ableton Live workflows, heavy guitar-inspired beats, experimental production, dark instrumentals, or just watching artists create in real time, this series is for you.
Gear and workflow featured in this session include Ableton Live, Akai MPK Mini / APC Key style workflow, stock plugins, drum programming, layering techniques, and live experimentation.
