Sometimes writing a song helps me express myself in ways I usually can’t. I always tend to do this when things happen in my life, and things get a little too much to think about. Poetry and songwriting always helped me with things, and I need to remember to go back it from time to time.

This song means a lot to me, because when I wrote it I had still a little more to learn. I still had to experience a little more pain before learning my lessons. Long story short, this song is another sad one I needed to write so I could move on. Honestly, I’m not sure why it took so long to share this one. Maybe I had to work up to it.

Things are still hard from time to time and I usually take things hour by hour, instead of day by day. But things have gotten easier and I’m starting to work more. eventually time does help, but mental toughness has a lot to do with it.

Lastly, please love the people that matter the most to you. Really love them! Enjoy the moments you have because you never know then the good times could end.
